Viña Cobos winery was born with the initiative of Paul Hobbs, who visited Argentina in 1989. After that, he has dedicated himself to producing high quality wines.
All the wine lines of this winery, stand out for being authentic, balanced and harmonious, respecting the typicity of each variety and each terroir.

Mendoza has various regions for the cultivation of vines of excellent caliber. For instance, there are two growing areas that stand out for their particularly outstanding conditions: Valle de Uco and Luján de Cuyo.

Luján de Cuyo

Known historically as the premier wine-growing region in Mendoza. Above all, its high elevation location in combination with a semi-desert climate and low-nutrient, gravelly soils provide ideal conditions for cultivation of quality fruit.

Valle de Uco

This astounding valley boasts magnificent scenery and a privileged location at the foot of the Andes Mountains. Irrigated by Tunuyán River and other mountain tributaries flowing through the region. In conclusion, this area is a true oasis of production.

Altitude varies from 900 m (2,952 ft) to 1,400 m (4,593 ft) above sea level.
