Lagarde winery is located in the area of Luján de Cuyo.
Lagarde winery was founded in 1897 and acquired by the Pescarmona family in 1969. The third generation of this family is the one who runs it today.
Its aim is to produce high quality wines, elegant and of limited and careful production. Its terroir comes from the region called Upper Zone of the Mendoza River, which has the characteristics of a soil of alluvial origin, that is, formed by the elements that drag the water of thaw that descends from the mountain range of Los Andes. The same applies to the fact that the soil consists of several superimposed layers which, together with the climatic variables, are responsible for two grapes planted on different soils having different characteristics, even for the same strain.
