Best of Mendoza trip – 4 days – 3 nights
Day 1 – Welcome to Mendoza
Arrive to Mendoza, reception at the bus station or airport and transfer to the selected hotel.
Day at leisure. We recommend you to enjoy the Spa and other services at the hotel.
Day 2 – South Uco Valley Wine tour. Visit 3 wineries and enjoy lunch
Valle de Uco is located around 115 km from Mendoza city.
A combination of high altitude lands (900 to 1300 masl), alluvial soils, low rains (more than 250 sunny days per year) and wide thermal amplitude, make grape growing be the first activity of the region. We plunge into the hearth of this vast region. Led by insider guides, we will visit three world-class vineyards and wineries. Walking around their facilities we will be surprised by the different ways of wine making process in each place. Also we will learn the secrets of this particular “terroir” and step by step how to taste a good glass of wine.
Savour a gourmet lunch paired with the best wines of the region, surrounded by a beautiful environment with wonderful views of the Andes.
Day 3 – Mendoza horseback riding at Quebrada del Condor – Potrerillos
In the morning we will go southwest for about 1:45 hours journey to reach La Quebrada del Cóndor (Condor Canyon) in Potrerillos.
This tour offers a 2/4-hours horseback riding through the different mountain trails shaped by native animals and people living in small settlements in the mountains. They are our gauchos, locally named “baqueanos”, who are amazing horse riders. We’ll go on a horseback to enjoy the espectacular and natural environment at the Cordillera de los Andes while we come to know and learn about the nature, geology, traditions and history of the region.
Back in the Ranch or “Puesto” we will have a nice “Asado” that we’ll share with the local family. Return to Mendoza in the evening.
Day 4 – Leave Mendoza.
According to your departure time described above you will be taken to the airport or bus station.
