A family day in the snow

The immensity of the Andes Mountain Range and its imposing snowy landscapes are perfect to enjoy with the family during the winter season. In this outing you will be able to learn about the different activities in the snow, full of adrenaline and fun for all tastes and ages. 

Early in the morning we will start the tour with our exclusive driver, who will pick us up at the hotel to start a family tour. We will take route 7 to the high mountain, where we will begin an adventure full of nature and fun. 

During the trip we will be able to appreciate a route marked by vineyards and other characteristic plantations of this land. As we move away from the city, we will notice how the view becomes wilder and more natural. The route will take us through Cacheuta, where we will be able to see the imposing Potrerillos Dam. Finally, we will arrive at the most outstanding ski resorts in Mendoza, known for their ideal conditions for the practice of winter sports.

Our experienced guides will be waiting for us with all the equipment we need to enjoy the snow and its activities. Snow suits and boots and sled for fun, will be the elements in charge of providing safety and comfort.

At noon it will be time for lunch, here we can enjoy a typical Creole meal accompanied by the exquisite wines that make Mendoza stand out around the world. 

A good plate of hot food will be in charge of replenishing energy to continue enjoying the snow in the afternoon.

To end this experience, it will be time to return. Our vehicle will be waiting to take us back to the lodge. Here we will have enough time to understand that the energy of the mountain range and its snowy landscapes will accompany the family forever.

Essential items

We suggest you to bring these items for personal use to make your excursion perfect:

– Small backpack.

– Extra mineral water.

– Personal care items (lip balm with sunscreen, sunscreen SPF50, antibacterial gel/wipes, insect repellent).

– Special clothing: cap or hat, sunglasses, comfortable and warm clothing (polar/sweater, windbreaker), appropriate footwear for the activity. Complete change of clothes.

Note: The best clothing for snow activities is synthetic materials in layers, as they dry quickly and keep warmth better. We suggest a base layer, then an intermediate layer, such as a light fleece coat or similar, and then a windproof and waterproof layer.

Safety tips: Inform the guide or driver of any illnesses, allergies or physical restrictions. Remember to bring your medication and administration instructions.
