Itinerary

Day 1 – Welcome Mendoza

Arrive to Mendoza, reception at the bus station or airport and transfer to the selected hotel.

Day 2 – Unique – the most outstanding: 95+ wines

Lujan de Cuyo, considered the Cradle of the Malbec, comprises lush tree lines and extensive vineyards blended with beautiful residencial areas and just like this we will begin our journey through the Wine Road.

Mendoza has different styles of wineries: industrials, historial, boutiques and garages. Today the proposal consists in visiting the most awarded boutiques wineries recognized by outstanding international referents as Robert Parker, Stephen Tanzer, James Suckling, Tim Atkin and others whose ratings achieved scores higher than 95/100 points in the wines tasted. Each of these wines stands out for its elegance, awakening sensations; power and marked personality; which make them almost touch excellence.

We will begin this experience accompanied by an specialized guide that will help us to reveal the secrets of these small pieces of art, each of them elaborated with the best vineyards of the region. 

At the end of the tour, we will enjoy a great gourmet lunch.

Day 3 – Winemaker for a day

This tour takes place at a well known winery. It consists in learning basic aspects of a winemaker’s job. It begins with a technical tour so we learn about the different grapevines. After that, we can work in teams or simply ourselves. Through guided work we will experience and enjoy blending to create a new sample wine and a label afterwords. At the end, each participant will present their wine to a jury in the most creative and convincing way as possible. The winners will receive a surprise prize! Regional/Gourmet lunch, paired with the most outstanding wines of the winery will be enjoyed at this place.

Day 4 – Wine tasting class

Let’s enjoy the experience of learning through the senses!

Led by expert hosts, we will explore the passionate world of wine. An introductory course about the grape growing and winemaking process step by step. The course is thought for people who would like to start and for the ones who have had some experience and want to update their knowledge with issues of the new world wines. 

On completion, you will enjoy lunch at either the restaurants of Zuccardi Winery; Casa Del Visitante/Pan & Oliva.   

Day 5 – Leave Mendoza 

According to your departure time described above you will be taken to the airport or bus station. 

What do I need to know?

 –  Special clothing: cap, sunglasses, sunscreen, comfortable clothes  and suitable shoes, additional mineral water.

 –  Safety tips: Report to the guide/driver about any special illness, allergy or Physical Restriction.      

                          Remember to TAKE YOUR MEDICATION AND ADMINISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS.
