Unique tour. Colonial style 19th Century wineries
Lujan de Cuyo, Maipú and Valle de Uco are the three most wellknown wine-growing areas of Argentina. They are composed by nice farmhouses, leafy groves, plenty of vines and olive trees.
During the end of 19th century and early of 20th, Argentina had the opportunity to receive a large numbers of immigrants who escaped from the wars in Europe.
This incredible workforce laid the foundation for the development of viticulture in Mendoza. Many of the wineries that exist today date from that time, although they have undergone architectural restorations to adapt to the current processes and technologies, they mostly keep their original style.
That is how we visit three wineries with different history and background. So we can be part of that past of efforts and achievements, that gave to this region its international renown. We will try different syle of wines in each cellar and at the end we will enjoy a great gourmet lunch.
